When you book your vacation at Willow Point Resort, you’re not simply booking a place to stay. You’re choosing an experience filled with endless opportunities to enjoy Hill Country and all it has to offer. We try our best to give you the premier Hill Country vacation rental option and we don’t say that lightly.
Here are a few reasons to persuade you
Lake Buchanan
What truly separates us from other vacation rentals in Hill Country is our access to the lake. Here at Willow Point, our cabins are only a few steps away from the shores of Lake Buchanan. You can stand outside your cabin and watch the water lap up against the sandy beach. If the weather’s nice enough, you can even run straight from your cabin right into the lake for a refreshing dip to cool down.
Cabin Experience
As we stated above, our cabin rentals are right next to the shore of Lake Buchanan, giving you prime access to water that can’t be found anywhere else. Along with that, our cabins offer a peaceful retreat from the hectic everyday life. This is great for both families that are looking to unwind with their kids or couples looking for a romantic getaway.
Outdoor Activities
At Willow Point Resort, we often have guests tell us they never felt the need to leave the property. For us, that’s one of the best compliments we can receive. By giving guests plenty of outdoor activities to keep them entertained, we feel like all the fun you want on a vacation can be accomplished right on our property. With activities like basketball, volleyball, corn hole, and washers, there’s plenty of ways that you and your family can have a friendly competition.
Boat/Jet Ski Rentals
It’s not just land activities that keep guests booking our vacation rentals. Boating and jet ski rentals are two of our most popular activities when the weather warms up. If you’re looking to zip around Lake Buchanan and get the adrenaline pumping, we highly recommend renting a jet ski for the day. However, if you feel like lounging around with your friends or family on the lake, then a pontoon boat rental may be more your speed.
Fishing
Perhaps neither of those aquatic activities suit your needs and you feel the urge to haul in a big catch to bring back to shore. If that’s the case, our fishing guides can surely give you a memorable day out on the lake. All you have to do is let us know you’re game and we’ll set up the time and guide for you.
Kayak/Paddle Boards
Last, but definitely not the least favorite are our kayak and paddleboard rentals. Those of you look for a little bit of physical exertion while coasting the waters will find this more suited to your needs. If you’re bold enough you can even bring your fishing rods with you while you kayak around the lake.
Hikes/State Parks
While we would love for you to stay at Willow Point Resort the entire time, we also know there are some incredible state parks around the area worth exploring. A couple of our nearby favorites are Inks Lake State Park and Colorado Bend State Park. Both offer beautiful hiking routes as well as breathtaking watering holes to jump in when you’re trying to cool off.
Wineries
One of the most popular growing industries in the Hill Country expanse is the ever growing wineries and vineyards. Seemingly every month there is a new winery opening up. Lucky for us, we happen to be right in the heart of the Texas Wine Trail. There are plenty of wineries to explore less than 30 minutes away for those looking to indulge in local flavors.
