What started out as just a hobby, quickly flourished into an award winning vineyard that goes above and beyond to ensure that each visitor is satisfied.

According to the Perissos website, the word perissos means “exceedingly abundant, beyond what is expected, imagined, or hoped for.” Their motto correlates perfectly into what they offer. Not only just a winery, but also an experience. The scenery is spectacular, with views of the rolling Texas hills that leave people with a serene feeling as they sit back and enjoy their wine.
Both wine tours and tastings are available, with the option of doing both in private groups. However, make sure you call at least as week in advance for private groups, as they are reservation only. These tours allow you the chance to peek behind the curtain and see the winery’s state-of-the-art-equipment.
As if incredible ratings from customers wasn’t enough, and there are plenty of those, Perissos Vineyards also boasts a litany of awards. In fact, dating back to 2009, they have accumulated over 80 awards for various wines. That is no small feat considering the vineyard hasn’t even been around for 20 years.
