Natural Beauty

If you didn’t know already, the Texas Hill Country and Burnet/Llano area, specifically (where you’ll find our resort), is known as the Bluebonnet Capital of Texas. Warmer spring temperatures comingle with the bounty of newly sprouted Texas flora.

Wildflower season in the Texas Hill Country is an experience unlike any other. One of our recent blog posts goes more in-depth about why this area is the perfect place to enjoy an immersive bluebonnet and Texas wildflower experience. Click here for more info.

Fishing

Spring (Feb-May) is a prime time to fish for largemouth bass on Lake Buchanan (AKA Fisherman’s Lake).

With more than 22,000 acres of bass fishing grounds and an excellent underwater structure of cliffs, rocky banks, mounds, brush, and trees, this area has become a fishing destination for anglers across the state.

Our resort sits on the shores of Lake Buchanan. Guests are welcome to fish right from the beachfront, deck or bring their own watercraft and head out on the water.

Boat rentals are offered daily and exclusively for Willow Point guests. We’ve also made relationships with several local guides who will pick you up and take you out to the best nearby spots.

Beat the crowds! With the summer season comes the hustle and bustle of families seeking fun and quality time together.

We LOVE that our Texas lake cabin rentals have become a destination for so many families. However, if you’re seeking a more tranquil vibe – planning a spring getaway is just the ticket!
