Our 11 private lakeside cabins and 25-person lake house sit nestled around an expansive Lake Buchanan peninsula. We strategically positioned each one to offer unobstructed lake views, maximize privacy, and provide open outdoor space with easy access to the water. 

Each Texas lake cabin comes equipped with a private full-kitchen and bathroom, covered porch, outdoor picnic table, chairs, and charcoal grill.

Guests also have a personal section of lawn and beach area to enjoy during their stay.

Why does all this matter? Well, when you’re vacationing with children (especially young kiddos), having both comfortable and safe accommodations as well as outdoor space for them to play is essential.

We know how much stress traveling with small children can be. (We’ve thought about using those leashed backpacks on more than one family outing, too.) Another notable benefit of our resort’s location on Lake Buchanan (the second-largest Highland Lake) is that guests find it nearly impossible to ever feel crowded. Both on and off the water.

Lastly, our cabins sit around granite gravel shores that provide an ideal beach for swimming, wading, and sunbathing. This type of setting is just what you need to beat the Texas summer heat safely. The shallower shore waters are perfect for even the smallest swimmers.

In addition to the traditional beach shore activities. We also encourage families to bring their watercraft, floaties, boats, and get out on the water, too!

However, if you’d prefer to skip the hassle of packing in anything extra. (We know how that goes.) We’re pleased to offer daily on-site boat rentals of paddleboards, kayaks, jet-skis, a pontoon boat, canoes, and more!

Offered on a first-come, first-served basis, we recommend filling out the rentals request form here if you’d like to add a water experience to your stay.

Our grounds also boast an array of both kid and adult-friendly outdoor games. Including ladder ball, basketball, volleyball, and horseshoes.

You’ll also find several campfire rings around the property.

Gather around for an evening of s’mores and stargazing to close out a fun-filled day on the lake.

There’s also a shared clubhouse stocked with board games and family-friendly movies.
