Summers in Texas Hill Country are as hot as they are beautiful. One of our favorite activities here at Willow Point is going for a swim in Lake Buchanan. The water is clean, clear, and cool, offering some much needed relief from the Texas summer heat!

We know several local fishing guides who would love to take you and your family out on Lake Buchanan this summer. It’s a great time of year to catch some fish and maybe even take them home for a fresh and delicious dinner.

We now offer jet ski rentals here at Willow Point, providing you with the perfect opportunity to zip around on Lake Buchanan and impress your friends. It’s a fun summer activity that you don’t want to miss out on.

4. Hiking

Admittedly, hiking in Texas Hill Country is always enjoyable. But we really love it this time of year when everything is in bloom and the Texas Hill Country wildlife comes out to play. They especially love hanging out on the shores of Lake Buchanan.
