1. Safety

Consider this: Celebrating New Years’ at our lake resort during Covid could be safer than a trip to your neighborhood grocery store. With plans to spend the holiday at Willow Point, you leave your safe private home, get into your own private vehicle, and drive to your private Texas lake cabin. We even offer no contact check-ins upon request. Public interaction is not required between your home and your Texas lake cabin rental!

2. Location

No planes, crowds, lines, or worries. Our central Texas location makes us easily drivable from anywhere in the Lone Star State or surrounding states.  

3.  Socially-Distanced Accommodations

Willow Point guests enjoy their own private, fully-equipped, lakeside cabin. Each with a private bath and full-kitchen; you bring the family and the groceries. For a full list of what we include in your cabin rental, click here.

That covers the inside; what about the outdoors? Each cabin has a private, covered porch, chairs, charcoal grill, picnic table, and an expansive beachfront area.

Our property boasts just 11 Texas lake cabin rentals, meaning there is generous space between each of the cabins around our resort.

4.  Fireworks

It wouldn’t be New Years’ without a fireworks show, and New Years’ during Covid will be no exception! Although most of the annual large-scale fireworks shows are no longer going to happen this year, you can still end 2020 with a bang! 

Nearby vendors will be selling fireworks until midnight on New Year’s Eve. You can find plenty of fireworks stands on your way to our family-friendly lake resort. There are several in Kingsland, Buchanan Dam, and the nearby town of Burnet. 

Currently, there are no fireworks bans in place, so Willow Point guests are free to create as big (or small) of a display as they wish! 

5.  Unplug and Reset

Start the New Year with fresh air, a rejuvenated spirit, and new memories made with the ones that mean most to you! We can’t think of a better way to ring in what’s sure to be another extraordinary year! 

While December does bring cooler temps, our guests can still comfortably enjoy fishing, kayaking, hiking, biking, outdoor games, star gazing, campfires, and s’more making.
